Role: Senior Level Design

  1. Designed multiple VR combat levels for John Wick Chronicles, a wave-based shooter set in the John Wick universe.

  2. Explored early VR level design conventions, balancing player comfort, readability, and high-intensity gunplay.

  3. Translated film lore into playable encounters, contextualizing John Wick’s “Impossible Task” through gameplay.

  4. Prototyped interactive targets and scripted enemy behaviors to support pacing and escalation.

Goals

  1. Design a space where players have an introductory experience to the gameplay and mechanics of the game

  2. Increase the difficulty in target tracking and acquisition to better train the players

  3. Prototype out how the players would switch weapons and interact with the environment outside of shooting

  1. Take a blockout from another designer and bring it to ship quality

  2. Add existing gameplay elements and prototype new ones with associated disciplines

  3. Set up playtest and feedback sessions with QA
